LINES

The line are important in every drawing and you can see them everywhere.The lines can indicate forms as well a movement. Are straight, curve and dotted line. You can use lines to indicate shadow or volume also to draw a contour of an object.

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLORS

Primary colors are the root  of every other color. The base of colors are yellow, blue, and red and they cannot be created by mixing other colors together. 
The secondary colors result when you are mixed primary colors together. The secondary colors are orange, green and purple.

Welcome to my blog! here you can find what you need to teach kids between the ages of 4 and 6.

The Art is very important in the education for each kid, because is considered a great influence on his emotional, physical and cognitive development. When the children are manipuling a brush, plasticine or are tearing paper, they are developing the fine motor skill and exploring their creativity, also, while they are exploring , the colors,  the texture and the shapes in this moment they are increasing the level to concentrate their attention and focus their emotion.

Is very important to encourage them the Art visiting art exhibitions or media sites and give children a site at home for thouse activities.

Elements of Art:

Dots, lines, primary colors and secondary colors, shades of colors and textures.


Dot

The dot is a small spot made by pencil or color that is ussualy circular shape and its size may vary. It often denote position of a design from wich other elements such a line, shape and plane are bought into motion. The visual volume depend of how close or far are located the dots. 


The principlee characteristics:


  1.  Dots establish a relationship with the space around it.
  2.  Alot of dots in the same space allow as to see a shape 
  3.  A dot in a plane generate sensations


You can paint dots using the pointillism technique.
The Pointillism is an artistic technique that uses tiny dots of color to create a depht of light. Georges Seurat was the developer of this technique, he paint dots side by side to build form in his painting.
